Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern the use of Haven LARP AU and the purchase of goods and services from Haven LARP AU by customers. By attending a LARP Event, purchasing any goods, or by clicking your agreement to these Terms, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Definitions
We, us or our refers to Haven LARP AU.
Haven LARP AU means the partnership trading under the business name Haven LARP AU.
You or customer refers to the individual or entity that accesses the Event, participates in LARP activities, portrays characters, engages in interactive storytelling, or purchases goods or services from the Event.
Event or LARP Event refers to any Live Action Role Play event, gathering, or activity organised and operated by Haven LARP AU, where participants physically portray characters in an interactive storytelling experience, including all associated activities, venues, and facilities.
Bags refers to any bags, parcels, or personal items.

Pricing
All prices displayed at the Event are quoted in Australian Dollars. Prices may be subject to change without notice. Unless otherwise stated, the prices displayed include applicable Goods and Services Tax.

Payment
We accept the following forms of payment: cash, eftpos, paywave, visa, mastercard. All payments must be made in full before you are permitted to enter the event.
By purchasing any product from our Event, you agree to pay any and all applicable charges, including potential transaction fees. Failure to make payment may result in the cancellation of your purchase.

Product Descriptions and Availability
We endeavour to provide accurate product descriptions and images in our Event. However, we cannot guarantee that all information is always accurate, complete, or up-to-date. Product availability may vary, and we reserve the right to restrict or refuse sales of any product at our sole discretion.

Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Returns and Refunds
We do not accept returns or provide refunds for weaponry or costumes as these are special order items made specifically for individual customers, unless they are deemed to be faulty or do not meet Australian Consumer Law guarantees. Please refer to our Refund Policy for detailed information.
In accordance with Australian Consumer Law and as detailed in our Refund Policy, we will accept returns and provide exchange or refund for products within 2 weeks from the date of purchase if you have a valid receipt and the products are returned in their original condition, unused, unworn, unwashed, and with original packaging.
Under Australian Consumer Law, customers are entitled to a refund, replacement or repair if a product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or doesn't match the description. Full details of these rights and our processes are outlined in our Refund Policy. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase with proof of purchase. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method. Return shipping costs for faulty items will be reimbursed.

Bags
The event reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to request a search of Bags brought onto the event premises by a customer. By entering the event, Patrons acknowledge and agree to comply with any such request for a bag search.
Bag searches may be conducted by authorised event personnel for security purposes. Non-compliance with a request for a bag search may result in the customer being asked to leave the event premises. The event shall not be held liable for any loss or damage that may result from a customer's refusal to comply with a bag search request.

Safety and Security
The event is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all customers. However, customers are responsible for maintaining the security and safety of their own personal belongings, including Bags, while on the event premises.
While the event takes reasonable measures to ensure a safe environment, the event is not responsible or liable for any loss, theft, or damage to any personal belongings, including Bags, left unattended by customers on the event premises.
Customers are encouraged to report any suspicious or concerning behaviour to event personnel immediately.

Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service, entry, or participation in the Event to any person at our sole discretion, provided such refusal complies with applicable Australian laws including anti-discrimination legislation. This includes, but is not limited to, circumstances where a person's conduct is disruptive, threatening, inappropriate, or in violation of these Terms.
All participants must strictly adhere to the Event's Code of Conduct at all times. Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct will result in immediate removal from play and potential exclusion from future events. Event organisers maintain absolute discretion in determining violations of the Code of Conduct. No refund or compensation will be provided where service is refused or participation is terminated due to Code of Conduct violations or other customer misconduct.

Liability Limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be held liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profit or revenue arising from your use of the Event or purchase of goods.

Warranties
Some products may be covered by an express warranty provided by the manufacturer or us. Warranty claims can be made either through us or directly with the manufacturer at your discretion. This warranty is in addition to your other rights and remedies under Australian Consumer Law and does not limit or replace them.

Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights, including copyright and trademarks, in our Event and its contents (including but not limited to game mechanics, world lore, storylines, event materials, and official documentation) are owned by or licensed to us. While participants retain rights to their personal character concepts, costume designs, and individual creative contributions, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use photographs, videos, and documentation of your participation for promotional and archival purposes.
You may view and download designated event content for personal, non-commercial use related to your participation in our LARP events. Any participant-created content (including character backgrounds, costume designs, and in-game contributions) that you submit or incorporate into the game setting grants us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such content into the game world and related materials, while preserving your right to use your creations in other contexts.
By participating in our LARP events and submitting character concepts or other creative content, you warrant that your contributions are original or you have proper rights to use them, and they do not infringe any third-party rights. We reserve the right to modify or decline any participant-created content that conflicts with the game world, violates these terms, or breaches applicable laws. The royalty-free license granted to us includes the right to adapt your contributions for game purposes while maintaining appropriate attribution where required by law.

Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint or dispute regarding our Event or a product, please contact our customer service team at havenlarpau@gmail.com. We will endeavour to resolve any issues promptly and fairly. In the event that an issue cannot be resolved internally, we may agree to participate in external dispute resolution services.
Our dispute resolution process follows these steps: (a) We will acknowledge your complaint within 10 business days; (b) Our customer service team will investigate and provide an initial response within 10 business days; (c) If unresolved, the matter will be escalated to senior management for review within 10 business days; (d) If still unresolved, we will propose mediation through an independent dispute resolution service, with costs to be shared equally unless otherwise agreed. You agree to attempt resolution through our internal process before pursuing external options

Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall continue to be in full force and effect.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that state or territory.

Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at our sole discretion. We will notify you of any material changes to the Terms, which may be posted in the Event, online, or communicated directly to you.

Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and handle your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles. Your data will be securely stored, used only for specified purposes, and shared only with your consent or as required by law. Any disputes regarding the collection, use, or handling of your personal data will be addressed according to our Privacy Policy.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. We will notify you within 10 days of any data breach affecting your information. Our data collection methods include website analytics, form submissions, and communication records. All data is encrypted using industry-standard protocols and stored in secure, access-controlled facilities.

Specific Liability Exclusions
Notwithstanding the above limitations, you acknowledge that we specifically exclude liability for: (a) technical issues or failures affecting event access; (b) cancellations or changes due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control; (c) personal injury or property damage resulting from your non-compliance with venue safety protocols; and (d) any claims exceeding the amount paid for your Event ticket, except where prohibited by Australian Consumer Law.
